Italian Wine School

A Guided Tour Of Italy’s Regional Wines

Introduction

There is no other country on earth with a wine culture like that of Italy.

While millions of wine drinkers love Italian wines, the subject can be a bit overwhelming and somewhat confusing.

This course offers an enjoyable, clearly marked, journey through the delightful, sometimes baffling, world of Italian wines.

During the class course, Italian wine specialist Luca Vannini will discuss the unique characteristics of Italian regional wines with particular emphasis on the DOC and DOCG areas.

Participants will taste five to seven wines per class.

A variety of foods, including regional specialties and artisan products, will be served to facilitate a discussion of food and wine pairings.
